<p>Hey everyone,</p>
<p>I applied as a freshman to the UCSB Computer Engineering program (in the college of engineering) this year with the following:</p>

<p>~3.5 weighted GPA (Mostly B's in math classes, A's and B's in science classes, and I come from a difficult high school)</p>
<p>34 ACT composite (36 in math)</p>
<p>5 on AP Physics B Exam (Got B's both semesters though)</p>
<p>7 other non-math and science AP exams (5's in all but one)</p>
<p>Very good extracurriculars and personal statements</p>
<p>Currently working a full time, 6-month paid internship at a computer security company (I discussed this in the application, as well as the fact that I taught myself various computer-related things to get the job)</p>

<p>What do you think my chances are of getting in? I applied to the College of Letters and Sciences last year with the same grades and test scores and I got in, but decided to take a gap year. I'll check this thread and answer any requests for additional information. Thank you!!!</p>
