I applied to UCLA and Cal too, but I’m pretty set on UCSD… And of course, not sure I’ll get accepted into either of the other two. I’m happy with just getting out of the central valley! But looking into housing and stuff, I realize how cheap things are here, for a reason though… Haha. So does UCSD let you know your preliminary award right when they accept you?

My financial aid preliminary award was posted for UCSD when I was able to log in during the first batch of acceptances.

I still cant view my financial aid awards (unofficial). I was just admitted last night, it’s goin to take a couple of days before they post it right?

theregoesevan, ok thanks!

And hellostranger57, I was accepted on the 22nd and today was the first day I was able to view my award. So probably, but cannot say for sure.

I was accepted March 22nd and still cannot view my Financial Aid award… Anyone in the same predicament?

i tried checking my UC Santa Barbara unofficial letter today but it says its updating so they are probably adding more Fin Aid letters today.

hey jane – thanks for your PM a few days ago =D

As for UCSB FinAid, I was unable to check my status until today. Let me try and rephrase: they constantly upload more information (and I know this because I’ve checked every day since I was accepted in order to work out a budget). It’s taken a few days from finding out I was accepted to the point where I can see the Unofficial Award Letter.

Good luck!

arenaninja- so did u get any references yet? and the scholarships?

i havent heard back from my scholarships i have to wait till April 16th :(

i barely got anything from UCSB

jane – as I had to move for spring break it’s been crazy for me, but for now I got a recommendation from two internships, which is pretty awesome as is. I’ve begun making general plans and as soon as I’m all set in this new place (hopefully by Monday) I’m going to apply for scholarships.

hey arenaninja thats great news! those recommendations will def come in handy. good luck :)
