UC Santa Barbara or UC Davis?

<p>So a few nights ago I was waitlisted for UCI as a bio major (my dream school), so I'm kind of just ignoring that since there's no way of knowing if I'll get in or not until May 15th.
Right now my main decision is between UC Davis and UC Santa Barbara. My parents want me to go to UC Riverside, but I'd have to live at home if I do.. Which I REALLY don't want to do.</p>

<p>I've read threads about people going through the same thing but I feel like it changes so much year after year so I'd just really appreciate it if some input was given! :)</p>

<p>I've been told that I am extroverted but I have never attended one of those typical "high school parties" although I would like to experiment in college. I've heard that BIO is stonger at Davis but I'm not too sure. I want to be a Dentist!</p>

<p>Santa Barbara. Not even close. the college experience will be tenfold better there.</p>

<p>Davis is a great college town. Have you visited either school?</p>

<p>I agree, visit both. The schools have very different vibes, and both have strengths. Academically, you’ll be fine at either school.</p>

<p>One thing to consider is transportation. Would you be getting to and from SB by driving? Would you be flying to Davis?</p>

<p>I’m going to this Decision Davis Day next friday and am going to tour SB’s campus next wednesday. I’m hoping the visits will make my decision easier…</p>

<p>Yeah I would definitely drive to SB and then either for Davis but I prefer flying.</p>

<p>what about comparing student life? I’ve heard it’s rather different at both schools</p>
