Hopefully ucsb releases my decision on monday too! Im wishing they’re not like Ucsd when it comes to this.

And hopefully, monday is the day i’ll find out my first college acceptance! Although UCSB isn’t my 1st choice, i’d just love to be assured that i’m not staying in a CC anymore.

It’s so funny because I am…(how do i put this)…really really excited for tomorrow haha. Like, right now, I can’t believe it’s actually tomorrow, and come 4pm, my heart will be pounding much faster.

but you know why it’s funny?

IT’S LIKE MY FOURTH CHOICE SCHOOL!!! Hahahaha I can’t even begin to imagine what I will feel like April 30, 2010 at 5:45 pm :O!!!

the only reason i want tomorrow to hurry up and get here is not because I want to go there (woot go CAL), but because if i get in, that means my application was completed correctly and I got everything turned in on time. Because i have yet to hear from UCSD (all uc’s besides Berkeley serve this purpose for me right now at this point haha) and could use a boost in moral haha.

^ I felt the same way!I was so scared that I had screwed up the application or forgot to turn something in.I was ecstatic when I got into UCSC, because that meant that I did everything right.

Looking back, I really SHOULD have applied to one of those earlier released schools. I only applied to 3- UCSB, UCLA, and Cal, with SB being my 2nd choice and safety all wrapped into one (due to proximity- I’m not sure I have the balls to move to Nor Cal).

Only now am I starting to get all that paranoia…

Know the effed up part though? It is conceivable that at least one person will have to wait all the way until May 1st for all of their decisions… All 3 schools I applied to have a disclaimer that they will be releasing transfer decisions all the way up til May 1st. Not saying it’s probable… just saying it’s possible… and that possibility is starting to freak me out just a teeny tiny bit.

Given that I was accepted to UCSD and UCSC on the first day, I will assume that I get into UCSB tomorrow. I am stoked.

Out of UCSD, UCSC and UCSB, which school is best for economics, mathematics or both? I am looking for a school that has good research opportunities and job prospects right after graduation.
