YAY!! Congrats to all of you out there!! So thrilled the wait is over!

@AsianStarvation you must have had something they liked because all who have posted their stats have at least something high about them. What are yours?

Also - to anyone who did not get accepted today - donā€™t feel bad or like you didnā€™t get in! The large majority of people are likely getting in later on in March, and not getting in now likely just means your stats werenā€™t at the very top of the applicant pool. Good luck to those still waiting to hear back!

@AsianStarvation Same, I got in for biology but my stats arenā€™t that great and Iā€™m out of state. I was expecting a reply late March tbh

E-mail definitely made it sound like these were early notifications, so hope no one is discouraged if you havenā€™t heard yet.

Does anyone have insight into which students UCSC targets for early admit? My D has stats higher than most of those posting about acceptances tonight, but hasnā€™t heard anything. Does UCSC worry about yield?

I am honestly thinking college admission letters are all over time wise. My son has gotten acceptances later than others with lower stats. Point is, try not to worryā€¦ this is a journey and our kids will do fine. :slight_smile: All the best to your daughter! :smiley:

congrats everyone

@GhidottiDad
SAT:1310
UC GPA: 4.09ish
President of a club, involved in couple other clubs, and volunteer at a hospital.

Thatā€™s it ahah

@AsianStarvation solid for UCSC, but are you out of state? thanks for sharing as it gives folks a way to compare their chances.

@GhidottiDad
I am from southern cali, so Iā€™m not OOS :slight_smile:

i wonder if they will release admission decisions in ā€œbatchesā€ such as theseā€¦or if this is the initial first batch and the rest will be rolling, not all at once like thisā€¦

@sammygrammy: If UCSC keeps to their usual acceptance schedule, they release alphabetically by last name starting at 12 am in March. They usually post their decision timeline and specific March date on your student portal.
