UC Santa Cruz Class of 2021-Biology

I applied to UCSC and at the end of Feb got an email from their Physical & Science division. Should I take this as a good sign that I might get in? Did anyone else receive the same email? I am grasping here

“I am happy to hear of your interest in the Physical and Biological Sciences Division at the University of California, Santa Cruz. Should you be admitted to the university, I want to make sure you have all the information you need to make an informed choice about physical and biological sciences at UC Santa Cruz. Every day, UC Santa Cruz scientists are redefining our understanding of the world in which we live. I recommend that you take a look at our Physical and Biological Sciences web site, where you can find information on more than two dozen major and minor degree tracks in the core science disciplines and in a variety of interdisciplinary programs.”

I got the same email you did but from the Social Science dept. (economics)

Hmmm, maybe that’s a good sign? I haven’t received anything like that from any other college except Purdue and I have been accepted there. Fingers crossed. The 15th can’t come soon enough!

what are your stats?

I received the same letter but from social sciences as well!

Yea same I got it and I applied for economics

@anxious98 Wherever you end up, they’ll be LUCKY to have you. Good luck with your UCSC decision tomorrow.

Thank you! I am praying for one UC so I can graduate debt free. My dad has the Cal Vet program as a disabled vet so I am very, very lucky. I plan on pursuing a Masters degree so I can become a Virologist. Hopefully, I will be seeing all of you at UCSC!
