UC Santa Cruz posted and emailed applicants what time admissions will be up tomorrow based on your last name according to PST. Here is the list and I’m definitely planning to stay up until 1am for the decision lol
A - C beginning at 12:00 a.m.
D - G beginning at 1:00 a.m.
H - K beginning at 2:00 a.m.
L - N beginning at 3:00 a.m.
O - S beginning at 4:00 a.m.
T - Z beginning at 5:00 a.m.
@lilaclily oh ya i forgot about the email I wasn’t sure because on the portal it says “Our notification of admission decisions begins at midnight (Pacific Daylight Time) on March 15 and concludes on March 31.”
Decisions come out tomorrow. If you look on your portal then there will be info stating the exact time it will come out tomorrow.

Guys go check your portals, do you see the new navigation button they added on the top right corner? did everyone get the same button as well?
For the last few years they’ve released all decisions at the same time, rather than following the schedule they post. Hope it’s the same this year since my D is an ‘S’ 
@thedumbsmartguy232 Interesting! My S has it too. I don’t recall seeing it there before. It has a lot more options than the boxes we normally see.
I believe you have a good chance. UCSC loves applicants like you, especially if you show great interest in going. Because you have good extracurriculars, and grades I believe that puts you in the strong pool. I also believe that if you have a decent amount of volunteer work, you’ll be admitted for sure. Stay confident!! All schools are different in who and what they look for in an application! UC Davis might have a different criteria, as UCSC is known for living applicants that have strong extracurriculars and volunteer work, which you seem to have. UW is an EXTREMELY hard school to get into aswell and UCD so I wouldn’t lose confidence.

@lilaclily Since my son does not share anything with us with what he receives in his emails or his portals as far as schools are concerned…When did you receive this notification stating what time tomorrow decisions would be out according to one’s last name? And wasn’t an email that was sent? Our last name is Polak so after looking at what you posted basically it should be there when he wakes up in the morning at 6:45.
@Andreq it is on the applicants portal as far back as January. Here it is:
Our notification of admission decisions begins at midnight (Pacific Daylight Time) on March 15 and concludes on March 31. All admission decisions are posted in the portal, and admitted students are also notified with a letter sent to the current mailing address. We will begin posting decisions on the portal on March 15 according to the first letter of your last name in the following time blocks:
A - C beginning at 12:00 a.m.
D - G beginning at 1:00 a.m.
H - K beginning at 2:00 a.m.
L - N beginning at 3:00 a.m.
O - S beginning at 4:00 a.m.
T - Z beginning at 5:00 a.m.
@Andreq I received two emails stating that notifications will happen by last name on March 1st and 7th. So yes your son’s admissions decision should be on there by 6:45. Best of luck to him !

If you click on “Applicant Homepage” a dropdown menu shows up and there’s a tab that says “Campus User Homepage”
