I have both the navigation bar and the campus user homepage
Yeah I don’t think that’s new…
Although maybe it is and its a good sign!
If I explore the campus user homepage it allows me to see something called Slug Success Login and when I click on it, it opens a new page to see grades and gives me an “edupersonprincipalname”
@thedumbsmartguy232 Yep, I have the navigation bar and what was mentioned above in lilaclily’s comment.
Oh yeah. Under resources for this new page it has a lot of stuff that seems like it’s for accepted students.
@lilaclily March 1 and 7th?
You mean that’s when decisions should have been done? Or is that when the emails were sent out? Interesting because my husband LOL logged onto his emails but does not open those emails and he actually said there was nothing in there from UCSC.
@Andreq those dates are when I received the emails. The March 1st email said:
Dear _____:
As the admissions notification date approaches, I highly encourage you to check your access to the MyUCSC portal at my.ucsc.edu, where you will be able to view your admissions decision on March 15, 2018, according to the following schedule based on the first letter of your last name (all times below are Pacific Daylight Time):
A - C beginning at 12:00 a.m.
D - G beginning at 1:00 a.m.
H - K beginning at 2:00 a.m.
L - N beginning at 3:00 a.m.
O - S beginning at 4:00 a.m.
T - Z beginning at 5:00 a.m.
If you haven’t already done so, please take a few moments now to log in and make sure that your UCSC CruzID and CruzID Gold Password work. Then you will be ready to view your decision on March 15 at your specified time, or later when it is more convenient. Your admission decision will be displayed through April 30.
If you wait until March 15 to log in for the first time and you experience difficulty, you might not be able to resolve it until the next day. As you can imagine, the Help Desk will be extremely busy on that day, so if you are having problems with access to the portal, we strongly recommend that you contact the Help Desk as soon as possible.
@Andreq Then the March 7th email said:
Dear _____:
Over the last few months, staff from the Office of Admissions have been thoroughly reviewing the over 56,000 applications we received from prospective freshmen. Thank you for your patience during this time.
In just a few days, we’ll be releasing our admission decisions. Beginning at midnight on March 15, you will be able to view your decision on the MyUCSC portal at my.ucsc.edu, according to the following schedule based on the first letter of your last name (all times below are Pacific Daylight Time):
A - C beginning at 12:00 a.m.
D - G beginning at 1:00 a.m.
H - K beginning at 2:00 a.m.
L - N beginning at 3:00 a.m.
O - S beginning at 4:00 a.m.
T - Z beginning at 5:00 a.m.
Plus stuff about signing in using your CruzID
My DD’s portal shows the Applicant Homepage drop down menu bar … and then the Campus User Homepage … click Resources button … small “pause” looking button on left of screen opens up to menu of other links
I hope this is a good sign. Been a long, worrisome road and we are so done with the anxiety of waiting/wondering.
Best of luck to all!!!
Do you think I would get in for comp sci with a 3.68 UC GPA, 1360 SAT, 750 Math 2, 740 chem
S can click to all of the same pages and tabs as described above. Very interesting. But do we all have it?
@YoungOne4 Looks like we all have it which makes me think it’s nothing special
@YoungOne4 @SFCA2018 i have it too
yes have it too
Yeah it probably doesn’t mean anything
I just checked my page and it turns out that I’ve been accepted. I’m a transfer student, not a freshman. Kind of surprised that it happened today.
CONGRATS!!!
@chicalmom Thanks! Now I gotta wait to be accepted at the other schools. At least now I don’t have to fear being stuck at CC for another year.
guys im scared UCSC is my only option at this point lol
