Hi everyone!
I still haven’t received anything from UCSC. Others that have not received it until later told me that this is a surer sign of getting rejected. Is this true? :#
@penguinluver if it’s a sure sign then we would have been rejected during that rejection wave last week.
Thanks for all the responses y’all! I am a PSYCH major. I wrote more extensively on my circumstances in more detail. I talked about my disorder in my personal essays and how they have impacted me positively and made me the person I am today, but did not address the performance issues and semester off due to hospitalization. I have medical documentation as well. I poured my heart out in the appeal and am getting a letter of recommendation from a doctorate in education, which happens to be my aunt, but hopefully it has some sort of impact regardless bc I don’t have any special relationship with a professor at my CC. I’m really hoping for the best; I absolutely love UCSC and will do whatever it takes!
