I was accepted at midnight when my time was suppose to start at one.

Essays: I thought they were great and so did everyone that reviewed them.

I feel that admissions will release acceptances to those that qualify in a rolling basis and will then send the rejections? Just like Cal poly SLO

I’ve taken 5 lit classes and got A’s in them all, but I have 2 C’s from other classes, at least 5 W’s and even a D and an F (repeated those) lol…
Just got accepted this morning (my last name starts with C).

When I go to the UCSC portal and log in, and then navigate to “View Application Status”, it just shows me the generic:
“UC Santa Cruz has received your application for fall 2015! As we thoroughly review the thousands of applications we have received, here is some important information for you to know…”
etc etc. It has nothing specific to me, and I see nowhere to go for specific info regarding my app. Does this mean mine hasn’t been released yet? It doesn’t say pending anywhere and I’ve been poking around for 10 minutes without finding anything.

Apparently we should have received an email if we got accepted. For us with that generic text means we have to keep waiting until April 30 for the rolling decisions.
Now my question for others is what are rolling decisions. Were those that just got accepted better applicants and now they are narrowing it down further or…?
I have a 3.86 CC GPA, pre-reqs complete, and applied for Business Management Economics major. Still waiting…
Anyone get accepted as a BME major- if so what is your GPA?
