Do you guys know that you have to click on “Main Menu” on the links at the top and the click on “Application Status.” It won’t show up on the message center. I had no idea at first. Did you guys try that? @jonuni94 @showmom858
Engineering and Computer Science majors always find out towards the end of the month or early April. I got my answer March 28th last year. I know the wait is torture, but it was like that last year for me. My non-engineering friends were all telling me they were accepted and I had no answer. Just be patient and im sure you’ll get your good news. I got in with a 3.0 EE major IGETC done and a tons of EC like president of math club, math tutor, engineering club, and working 24 hours a week. So just because your GPA isn’t high don’t worry they also look at other stuff. Good Luck guys.

Thanks @liljr415 ! I was worried because my GPA at the moment is right at the 3.00 mark (+/-) because I had a rough time in the middle due to family issues and all that which brought out a few C’s, but I’ve pulled through at the end. With that I have a lot of extra curricular (Global Medical Brigades in Honduras, International Volunteering in Ghana, Chess Club, Psychology Club, Hospital Volunteering, etc) so I hope that helps.

UCSC is one of my top choices. I love the campus, the general feel, and the department for my major. Needless to say, I’ve been refreshing a few times an hour.

@basAlbus Thank you! No, I had no programming classes. I think they’re required for a Physic major applicant, but only recommended for Astrophysics. In either case, neither I nor the other Astrophysics major at my CC have any classes on programming.
@CancelOut Yes, I am missing like 5 pre reqs (2 Maths, and Physics series), and I applied as Chemistry major. Oh well, but I didn’t get into Chem major just yet, it is Pre-Chem actually
