***UC Santa Cruz Transfer Decision Thread 2019***

I’m in Sacramento, too! I also got the email, but my application is still pending.

My daughter was accepted and didn’t get that email. From the greater Sacramento area.

My teen got the email for the breakfast on the 13th in Concord and lives in Berkeley.

I’ve been accepted already, I did not get the email, I live in SoCal tho

Edit- LOL literally right after posting this I got an email about going to a transfer reception in Anaheim for SC.

For those who got the email about transfer student reception, does it also show up as a message in your portal? or only in your email?

@CAtransplant I received the email about a reception as well and there is no message on the portal regarding it.

@CAtransplant it came to my email. Here is the full email:

Interesting @TatianaF and @DavisPls - thanks.

@TatianaF the one im invited to is in Anaheim and is on April 14th

Do you guys think the reception would be worth going to? My top two choices at the moment are Santa Cruz and Davis, finaid packages and regents offers(if any) will probably be one of my biggest deciding factors

I have’t gotten this email either, nor have I been accepted yet. I live in SoCal

Transferring from Cal State Fullerton hopefully! Would love to see you all there!

@TatianaF That’s interesting. I was admitted and I live in east bay but I did not receive that email. I’ve received a few other emails though - about taking an admitted student tour, coming to a (different) reception, about joining the facebook group and about the ACE program.

Yup got the same email as well for the one in Anaheim. Haven’t been accepted yet either though…

Anyone whos applied for CS and has got an acceptance yet or any sort of message regarding the decision?

Does anyone know if SC has regents for transfers? I know Davis regents already came out and the application deadline passed (for those who got the offer for consideration), but I haven’t heard of anyone getting SC.

I just got admitted last night around 5 am based on the fb email invite i got

Stats
Major: history
Gpa: 3.2
Igetc: done this spring
Accepted: ucr, ucsb, ucsc
Applied:uci, ucla, ucsd, ucd

My guess is if you got that email about the breakfast reception, you most likely got in?? Good luck to you all!

@TatianaF Did it come to your email or just to the portal?

@tatianaF I got the email about the reception and I’m also a history major, but my application is still pending. Maybe tomorrow. ?‍♀️

I got the fb invite to my email. I checked the messages in my portal and it said i was admitted @chlotaylor
