DS offered Regents today. Accepted in late March. Does anyone know what percentage of UC transfer admits are offered regents scholarship?
@biscuit4reggie my daughter also offered regents today but have no idea about percentage of students it’s offered to. We are here in Santa Cruz to visit campus tomorrow morning on admitted student tour. Toured UCSB earlier today.
@sugarcane1 Congrats to your daughter! I saw you posted earlier in the thread that she’s a Sociology major. My son is too. Good luck with the rest of the UC’s!
Thank you @biscuit4reggie Good luck yo your son as well?
How are people already being offered regents and I haven’t even gotten a decision?! Lol
@ucdochopeful2k19 my thoughts exactly…this is torture…
any international transfer who has applied for CS and got a decision ?
I got accepted this morning for Computer Science. I TAG’d and did regular admission for UCSC but I’m not sure which one was accepted. My updated GPA was 3.74.
Congrats @patrick7 ! How did you find out? Did you get an email or check your portal first?
@cloud7 I got an email for the facebook invitation which has been mentioned here and then i went to my portal to confirm.

Hey all!
I was accepted on Tuesday!
Major: Feminist Studies
GPA: 3.67
IGETC: completed
@cacohill Nice to come across someone with the same major! did you apply to other UCs for Gender studies?
@emcg333, man sorry to hear that. I was also rejected for CS, which kind of stung since last year’s middle 50% enroll gpa was 3.05-3.50.
Though I have all lower div CS courses done, I think not having Calc 3, Linear Algebra, and the Physics series done really hurt me. My CCC gpa was 3.21.
i was accepted yesterday. funny thing is, i received an email in regards to a private fb group for students (invite only) that morning and was a little confused because i never got any notification from ucsc beforehand. checked my portal and saw that i was already admitted.
my stats!

D just got rejected for cognitive science and she tagged UCSC AND was invited to the transfer admissions reception. Her school’s precalc course is not equivalent to theirs. They did send her a message a few weeks ago asking if she’d take trig over the summer to which she responded yes.
3.95 gpa
Honors
Extra curriculars plus worked 3 jobs at one point
Graduated from HS a semester early and is getting two associates degrees this spring
Admitted to UCSB, UCI, CSULB, SFSU, CSUSB
Guys help me out I’m seriously perplexed here.
got rejected today
Cog sci major
gpa: 3.9
igect: complete by this spring
major: not complete
I think the reason why I got to reject because I couldn’t finish major. Even though I applied UCSC fro my backup plan, I still felt so sad. I felt like I will be rejected by UCB even though I will finish major classes before transfer.
@julzalli OMG me too!!! so sad
@julzalli if they asked if she’d take trig in summer that sounds like they’ll let her in. Did you appeal and let them know that?
They asked her if she’d take trig but that was probably a month ago and then today she was rejected.
