UC Santa Cruz Transfer Decisions 2013

Did you guys check your conditions of the acceptance? Mine was just to get a C or better in the rest of my classes. I wonder if that means I can’t drop any classes. I’m well over the 60 unit mark.

@larinaga, Unfortunately you must report to the UCs if your courses change. Therefore dropping a class you must tell them, however I would just do my best as you can have a C and still receive the credit for the class. C’s you don’t have to notify them of, however at the end you do need to send your transcript.

so who’s making the fb group? lets get to know each other before hand.

Yo, Ramfan, make the FB group, big dawg! I would do it right now, but I’m going to class.

Hi all,

I’m new and still waiting for my admission notice- at this point even “no” sounds better than the waiting. It’s making me unbelievably antsy.

Stats - Transfer Student
UC GPA: 2.8
Major: Art History + Visual Culture
Alt: Anthropology
Last name: Starts with “R”.

Anyone in my last name bracket (O - S) accepted yet?

^ I’m actually following the path there. Though, I didn’t see they had Art History + Visual Culture. (kicking myself because I should have applied for that)

Laringa: as soon as I SIR somewhere, I will join q page on FB brah!

ACCEPTED, On march 17th.

GPA: 3.93

:)

Anyone hear from UCLA, SD, SB, davis, UCI, or CAL?

@isabellerosa Congrats!!!

Thank you!!!

So excited.

Gettting kind of nervous. My last name starts with a “C” and I applied pretty early and still no word. I got accepted into UCSD but would really like to know if i got into UCSC and UCSB to start making a decision on where to go. My GPA is pretty terrible with only a 3.151 but I have great extra curricular and personal statements. Does UCSC bother to read personal statements?

Hiderekc did you tag a school?

@hiderekc dude you gotta wait because ucsc decisions came out like a day ago. Atleast wait until end of this month.

Where does it say the conditions of acceptance or whatever they’re called?

^When you read your acceptance, it’s the link at the bottom: “You’ve been admitted, what’s next?” Or something like that. Click that. Then another screen pops up. Click on Step 1 at the bottom (Don’t worry, you’re NOT accepting UCSC’s offer admission by doing this since is a multi-step process). The next screen will be your conditions of your acceptance.

will there be another round of acceptances coming on on the 20th? at midnight???
