UC-SB chances

<p>Hi, I am a Hispanic male from Chicago. Chance me at UCSB</p>

<p>UC GPA:</p>

<p>UW: 3.61
W: 4.04</p>

<p>ACT: 29</p>

<p>Senior Schedule:</p>

<p>AP Econ, AP English, AP Chem, Chinese 4 Honors, AB Calc.</p>

<p>EC's: Strong, lots of sports and community service, plus volunteer hours at hospital.</p>

<p>Any input would be really appreciated.</p>

<p>Obviously applying to any state school OOS puts you at a disadvantage. However, I have been told that because the UC system is losing lots of money, Out of state applicants aren't being put to as much of a disadvantage in order to get more tuition. Is there any truth to this? Again, any input would be appreciated, thanks!</p>
