Schools:
UCLA
Cal
UCSD (top choice)
UCSB
UCD
UCI
UCSC

Your GPA is decent and SAT is good for UCSD and I think that you have a good chance of getting in. What were your SAT subject scores?

Thanks! That’s more or less what I predicted…
I only took two subject tests – 740 on Literature, 600 on US History.

Are you applying from in our out of state?

I’m an in-state applicant. Does that affect anything?

The UCs actually appear very often on these boards, lol.

Your chances are good. I would say UCSD is a match. UC Davis, UCSB, and UCI are low matches, and UCSC is a safety. UCB and UCLA are reaches, but you definitely still have a shot at both.

UCs are second only to the top-30 schools as far as CC appearances are concerned.

Berkeley: High match
UCLA: High match
UCSD: Match
UCD: Low match
UCI: Low match
UCSB: Low match
UCSC: Safety
