<p>I was wondering if senior year grades count for applying to a UC? I've heard from many that senior grades don't count, at least not for being accepted into the school. I thought this made sense since you send in application before first semester grades are in. I've only heard that your senior year grades matter once you've been accepted into the college... like you shouldn't drop down to C's. I just don't know if it's unnecessary to stress on getting straight A's first semester.</p>
<p>If you are borderline then some UC's will ask for your first semester senior grades to help them decide whether or not to admit you. You need those A's for one more semester before you take it easy.</p>
<p>FYI, it's Berkeley and UCLA.</p>
