I know all the UC's have a requirement for "One yearlong course of visual and performing arts chosen from the following: dance, drama/theater, music or visual art". However, since art courses at my high school are only one semester, does anyone who was accepted to one of these schools (or knows someone who was), whether taking two courses of art, each one semester long, would be ok?

Update: I found out my school has a year long introductory guitar course which I can take. However, I’m still interested if anyone knows about the answer to this post.

I would assume that two semesters taken consecutive would be ok, for example theater arts 1 and 2, if they were semester classes. They will not punish you for what your school doesn’t offer.
