Hey everyone,
so I sent all my SAT scores really early, but I completely forgot about my ACT scores. According to the UC websites they said “Scores for either the ACT or SAT test are due December 31.” Does this mean that I have a choice of which type of test to send? I self reported my Act scores in my app and I was wondering if this will affect admission.

UC’s will accept either ACT or SAT. You do not need to send in the ACT scores if you have already sent the SAT scores but since you self-reported the ACT scores on the application, it might be better for piece of mind that you send official copies. The UC’s will accept the highest score for a single sitting, so I am assuming your SAT scores were higher than ACT?
@Gumbymom Yes, they were. I just contacted the admissions office and they said it was fine and that scores can be received until late January. Thanks though!
