then they can get rescinded bcos of 2nd semester...
ugh...im so mad, does that mean its the end for me cos i got a 2.8 first semester?

I don't know, people are giving me mixed answers. I'll call both schools tomorrow.

You should report any of the following situations:
...
"If you received any D or F grades, or if your SENIOR YEAR unweighted GPA will fall below 3.00."

Isn't that 1 total gpa? Like if someone asked you for your junior year gpa you would say "3.5," not "3.0 and 4.0."

yeah i think thats right

but does anyone know for sure?

I will know for sure by tomorrow.

wait....
say again...

4 years combined UW GPA

SENIOR YEAR: 2 semesters seperate UW GPA

SENIOR YEAR: combined year's UW GPA

which is it?

I called UCLA today and spoke with an admissions officer. I asked her if it was 3.0 unweighted for each semesters or 3.0 overall, and she said that information isn't released until prospective students get their letters.

I do have some good news though. I asked her what the policy was LAST year, and she said it was 3.0 OVERALL. So there's a good chance it could be the same this year.

Cal didn't have any information at all for me; the lady I spoke to didn't know anything.
