UC System - Common App??

I'm kinda confused about this...if you apply to one UC school do you apply to them all? Just curious. I mean...what's the deal with letters of rec. Mail to a central office, or the schools you're interested in?

To my knowledge you fill out one UC system application online, then checkmark which UC campuses you want the application sent to. UCs do not ask for teacher or counselor recommendations.

The UC system does not use the "Common Application", but it does use its own version of a common application for all of the campuses. You do an online admissions application for the UC system and merely check the boxes of those campuses you want to be considered for (plus, you will have to pay $60/campus checked). For each of the campuses, you will be asked to declare majors (or undeclared status) and areas of academic interests. (At the most competitive campuses (UCB, UCLA, UCSD), engineering majors have stepped up competition.)

Go to UC's website on admissions and poke around:
