<p>Since this question will undoubtedly come up:</p>
<p>Berkeley admits a higher % because it also admits for the Spring term, while UCLA does not. Berkeley often does not report this in major publications (easy guess why).</p>
<p>Both are selective. All UCs are great universities. Everyone’s happy (unless you were one of the 10,000 waitlisted (yikes!))</p>
<p>Amazing UC’s have waitlists now. I think it’s their first time this year.</p>
<p>According to the LA Times article, only 7 of the UC’s have waiting lists. UCLA and UC Merced are not included.</p>
