UC system - which SAT to report?

I have taken the SAT three times, and the highest one, a 2040, consisted of 760 in math, 740 in critical reading and 540 in writing.

Would I be better off to submit a 760/670/600 (2030 total) considering that the UC system might view my 540 very unfavorably?

This has been asked before and I'm still not sure of what was decided.

They see all your scores, but I think the consensus was that write down your highest score. They might look at your writing and see that it was higher in one session.

They ask that you put your highest score. So you should do just that. However, they will see your other scores on the report. Which UCs are you aiming for?

I really hope to get in to either UC Berkeley or UCSD, but I am applying to a bunch of others as well.

I'd take a look to see how heavily they even consider the writing score
