Hey guys, I didn't see any posts about the Transfer Admission Guarantee (TAG) for the Fall of 2015 yet so I decided to make one!! Anyone who has submitted a TAG should post their stuff here and update with when they get their decisions on whether or not theirs has been approved. I submitted my TAG for UC Santa Barbara and was told I'd find out between November 1-15 so I will let you guys know once I've found out.

I also submitted a TAG for Santa Barbara. People in the past seem to receive the decision on November 1st for Santa Barbara. But I have yet to receive an email.

Same here, still no notification. I know they technically can wait until the 15th but I just want to know so badly!

Well…It is Saturday. You may get an answer on Monday because it is a working day. That’s my best guess. I also submitted a tag for UC Santa Barbra

I submitted TAG to UCSC for Applied Physics still says Under Review…

It’s this week guys! I had to tag to Irvine since ucsb took out the tag for engineering starting this year last year irvine sent notifications on the 5th. Remember Remember the fifth of November…

Is the TAG deadline already over?

Yes, it was September 30

UC irvine doesn’t notify you early about TAG decisions. You won’t find out til April. I tagged irvine last year.

Irvine only tells you that they received your TAG app.

Here’s mine from last year. Remove the space between the m and g to see the picture because CC blocks links from that site for some reason.

Thanks guys!

I tagged UC Irvine for Computer Science and Engineering.

I tagged to UCD for Linguistics. It seems last year Davis released all the TAG decisions on November 15th (<a href=“UC Davis TAG Decisions - UC Transfers - College Confidential Forums”>http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/uc-transfers/1577724-uc-davis-tag-decisions-p1.html). Although knowing this still won’t keep me from compulsively checking my TAG status 10 times a day until the 15th.

I talked to a UCD representative at a transfer fair and they said TAG notification will be released on Nov. 14th

I tagged to UCD for Computer Science

On the UC TAG matrix, UCSB says “Minimum 3.2 overall GPA for all majors by the end of fall 2014 and maintained through spring 2015.” This is different from last year and all the other UCs. The other UCs require their GPA minimum at the time that you TAG, so basically end of the summer term. Does anyone know if this is legit? I have a 2.9 right now, and if I get As in all my classes this semester I would have a 3.3 and be accepted for their TAG.

@deniedeverywhere I was looking at UCSB’s website, and found this:

http://admissions.sa.ucsb.edu/docs/default-source/PDFs/ucsb-fall-2015-tag-criteria.pdf?sfvrsn=4

I believe number seven under Conditions of the Guarantee is what you’re referring to.

nothing yet

Ugh guys I’m so nervous. I applied to the UC Davis TAG with a 3.3 GPA. But unfortunately I have a lot of W’s and I am not full time for this semester. What do you guys think?

Hey guys sorry if this is a thread jack, but I was wondering if you guys had the same problem as me. I submitted my TAG application to UC Davis, but I didn’t really give much thought into my Spring planned courses and now I don’t want to take some of the classes that I listed as planned and instead take other classes. Would my TAG and UC application need to show the same planned Spring classes for it to be accepted or can I list the classes that I really want on my UC Application, which wouldn’t match my TAG app. I know that we have to update our status in January, but I don’t know what to do. Any help would be appreciated
