How come the transfer pages aren’t as busy this year as they were last year?
Anyways, how are you guys holding up? I got excited because I thought they were releasing acceptances in March 17 but the majority says that they release sometime in April… womp womp…
Did you go to the Uctap website and it told you there? Or did UCSB accept just accept you?
I’m so nervous, I haven’t gotten a reply black from SB as a transfer student nor SC.
I tagged for Davis, but in Fall I got dropped from an online class (really stupid, I didn’t post for 10 days and he drops those students), and I fell to a part-time student (10 units instead of 12). Does this mean that my TAG will be rescinded?
EDIT: the class did show up as a W, though (im making it up this quarter), does that make a difference?
@epitome95 on the surface, it seems like you did not conform by the full-time requirement proposed by UC Davis.
However, you can always explain to them the possible reasons why you became a part-time student in Fall, aside from forgetting to post for 10 days.
@Tristana Actually, I’m on quarter-based system. According to their website, you have to be a full time student from Spring 2014 to Spring 2015. Fall 2014 I had 10 units but this quarter (Winter 2015) I had 19 and next quarter I’ll be taking 21. To be a full time student, you have to have 12 units, and the cap is at 21.5 units.
I sent an email, hopefully everything pans out. Davis is my first choice, so hopefully it all works out lol
@adrian1994 Hi! No i just checked my portal on admissions UCSB. When you sign in it should tell you like “You’re Admitted” I think your time will come !! Don’t worry last year my friend tagged and he found out in April first week and my other friend April twenties !! hahah I don’t know how they send out the acceptances but it’s pretty random! Good luck!!!
@jaxtransfer Thanks!!! I am a Comm major ! I think they are sending out acceptances slowly ! No worries just keep checking everyday Your time will come ! Good luck !!
I TAG ucsb, my calculous 2 is in progress, but I finished calculous 1 and statistic. I haven’t get response from UCSB, don’t know if this is the reason
