UC TAG full time?

Im a transfer student at a CCC and I'm going to transfer in the fall of 2012. I'm applying this september for the TAG. However, last semester I had two Ws and I only earned 6 units. I earned 9 units the summer before that. Right now, I'm taking 6 units and dropped one class. I plan to take a 4 unit class this summer. I also have 5.33 semester credits from AP world history in high school. By the end of this summer I'll have 30.33 units and 4 Ws with a gpa of 3.1-3.4. Im not a full time student right now, nor was I before. Will this effect my tag?
thanks

They’re raising TAG to 3.5

^^^^^that’s only been confirmed for ucsd

UCSB has been at a 3.20 for a while and UCD is definitely raising their GPA as well.

I think the 3.5 is only for UCSD.
How much is the UCD gpa going to increase? I’m a managerial Econ major so the requirement right now is 2.8.

next year, youll only get to choose ONE UC to TAG to. The competition level is going to ramp up.

REALLY :open_mouth: well good thing I really want davis

what’s the source?

^
people from my cc and

http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/uc-transfers/1111315-tag-only-1-school.html</a></p>

it would make sense due to the 80 million budget cut this year.

how much will the davis gpa rise?

that’s would be very unfortunate, but i’ll take it with a grain of salt until official confirmation comes out

I have the same question as you OP…but no one here is answering it :(

I only took 5 units this winter quarter because I dropped my other two classes. Also this has been my only quarter that I wasn’t full time. How is this going to affect my tag chances as well?

does anyone have an answer? :(

Confirm this with each UC’s TAG requirements site, but as far as I know all that matters is the total number of units completed, not the semesters in which they were completed.
