UC Tag question! please help :/

So I’m going to submit my tag to uc irvine very soon. I have done most of my pre reqs but need a few more classes to meet the minimum 60 UC credit units. At this time I dont know what I want to take for winter or spring 2016. Do I have to know the exact classes by the time I submit my TAG? Also assuming I do, lets say i put I’m gonna take a psych class in winter 2016, but later decide to take it in spring, will this void my tag even though i will still be completing the class?

2nd Q: I think i kinda know what class i want to take in winter. The problem is sometimes they offer it in the winter and sometimes they dont. What do I do if that is the case and I put on my TAG that I’m going to take X class but then they dont end up offering it at that time and I am unable to take it?

What you do is simply update the new course schedule for winter/spring in the January TAU update (Transfer Academic Update). Or change it in the November application. Either/or.

It will not affect your TAG. Just make sure that all TAG requirements are still covered.

^Yep

My TAG was not exact when I submitted it to Davis, and I was still accepted.

@luckie1367 if you don’t mind me asking how exactly do you know if your application is accepted through tag?

In November Davis told me. I don’t think Irvine does that though.

Just be sure to complete roughly the same classes and update them ASAP of any changes. (I’d contact them and ask about any substitutions) They can pull your admission if you don’t take the courses you said you’d complete.

Every TAG UC is supposed to let you know by about mid-Nov (in theory).
