UC TAG Question! Please help! :(

Hello! I just submitted my UC TAG application and I got some questions here..
Um, first of all, when listing all of my courseworks I couldn't find 2 courses
so I had to manually put them in, but the two courses I manually put were NOT
UC-Transferable courses and it only brought my GPA down on the application.
Would UCs know that they are NON-UC TRANSFERABLE COURSES and correct my GPA? :(
I know that Non UC Transferable courses do not affect my UC GPA, but on the TAG
application, those two course brought my GPA down..

Does anyone know about this? I would GREATLY appreciate if somebody could respond!
Thank you so much for reading!

The GPA you saw calculated was preliminary. It will be reviewed and any manually-added courses will be calculated into that if they’re UC transferable.

im having the same problem… So, do i have to list it?

Yeah, you need to list it…

its gonna kill my GPA, but thanks for the information.

Yup. If you don’t list it, they’ll find it anyway when you submit your official transcripts next year, and then you’ll have your admission withdrawn.

Just wondering… but was this the same process or system that was used last year?

No. Last year there was no separate TAG app, you simply checked a “TAG” box on the regular UC app.

So, UCs will re-calculate my real GPA when reviewing my TAG application right? haha that’s good to hear…

Yeah, and they’ll also review any courses you manually added on your TAG app to see whether or not they’re UC transferable.

If it’s not considered a UC transferable class (you’d know from the catalog) then they probably won’t count it against you. Even that said, if you had a 4.0 and a 3.6 after getting 1 F, it probably WILL NOT affect your chances for any UC school. Then again, that signifies that you have very few units.

@wwlink: I already have completed 60 UC-transferable units by this fall  So I don’t think I have very few units…anyway thanks for the info.
