If I were to void my TAG because I wasnt able to finish my pre-reqs listed on the tag brochure, will my application be denied or will i be seen as a normal transfer applicant?

You will be considered for regular admission. Just make sure you tell them of your change either in your UC app or the January update. The only time you would be in trouble is if you were offered admission in April and you ended up dropping or failing one of your classes that you stated you would complete in the spring.

I was wondering about something sort of similar. I put TAG app as planned for 3 courses for Spring of 2011. Is it ok for me to drop 1 of the courses? or am I gonna get troubled for this? Because I had an F in one of the Universities but that F is not in my major so is it ok to not take it or should I just try to take it? Just need to take 2 classes to complete my 60 units minimum and IGETC and GPA is good enough for my TAG.

Thanks!

"Since submitting my TAG, I expect to have or already have: changed my course schedule, dropped a class, discovered that the courses planned will not be offered at my community college or attended another California community college. Will any of these changes affect my UC Davis TAG? How should I notify UC Davis?

Review your UC Davis TAG Decision Form carefully—the terms of your TAG require that you complete the coursework specified in your contract by the end of spring term. If you do not complete coursework specified by your TAG contract, you will fail to meet your conditions of admission and will jeopardize your admission guarantee. Keep in mind that all California community colleges participate in the UC Davis TAG program.

If your college will not offer a course required by your TAG contract, you should plan to complete the course at another California community college. Be sure to visit assist.org to ensure that any courses you take at another community college will satisfy your TAG requirements.

If you are attending a different California community college than the one you attended when your TAG was submitted, visit assist.org to ensure that courses at your new school will satisfy your TAG requirements and make certain that you do not duplicate coursework.

When completing the UC application, make sure you provide your most current course schedule. In January, update your grades and coursework using the UC Application Update to ensure that UC Davis and any other UC campuses have your current academic information. Changes reported on the UC application and the UC Application Update will be considered in determining your admission decision. Visit universityofcalifornia.edu/apply for more information.
