<p>I'm an Economics major and have applied as so to UCSD, UCD, and UCI.
I updated my application and said I planned to take Chem 1A this winter, and Chem 1B even though its not even remotely closely related to my major.</p>
<p>Would it be a problem if I withdrew from Chem 1A this quarter, and decided to not take Chem1B in the winter? Or would they revoke my TAG since those courses were listed in the contract?</p>

<p>No, your TAG is still valid as long as chemistry was not for fulfilling your major-requirement or IGETC. Even if it was major requirement, it would be still valid for UCSD at least.</p>

<p>I am dropping a non major course in my TAG. Do I need to tell them (over phone?) that I am dropping the class with a W or just wait until I report my transcript and they’ll see the W?</p>
<p>I actually have a similar situation. I listed certain classes for tag, but took other classes. They were both for IGETc and part of my major, but i just substituted them for other classes that were part of my major and for IGETc.
For instance, instead of taking anth 1 lab i took geoglogy and its lab…</p>
<p>In addition there was a class toward my major i did not take because i called UCI and i was advised to complete The class at UCI…will this also affect TAG?</p>
<p>I an kind of in the same situation as you guys. I dropped and received W in math 119 which is the Elementary Statistics. The class was not part of my major requirement or tag or igetc. I’ll have 60 transferable semester units with certified IGETC and TAG completed by the end of Spring semester. </p>
<p>Does dropping Statistics 119 affect my TAG at UCSD? I am a Political Science major.</p>
