UC this and UC that

Don't be so smug.

what's more irresponsible is to turn a thread into a flame fest.

also, i feel that someone is self-implying that he is more responsible than UC applicants.

Good lord.

Ponderosa, I don't understand where your "I'm tired of the UCs being here" comment comes from. We're UC transferees, and this is our board, too, as much as it is yours. I imagine that the simple reason why there are more of us here than, say, transfer applicants to Ivies like yourself because the UCs attract more transfer applicants. Because there are more of us, we start more threads. It's that simple.

If you feel that we're "cramping" the board with threads that are irrelevant to you, nspeds, we are not apologizing for it. Just avoid the UC threads, the same way I avoid most of the ivy threads. It's that freakin' simple.

God.

1) Avoiding Ivy threads will not be difficult, as most of them are shoved to the next page or archived.
2) When new visitors come to this board for advice on Ivy-Leagues, they encounter a plethora of UC threads, half of which are useless.

Even if I were applying to a UC, there would still be grounds for complaint.

That is the ad populum fallacy.

nspeds, you are a forum nazi. Not every thread here is dedicated to UC's, and it is very easy for people to find whichever thread they are interested in. If you don't like that, then why dont you make a thread about your school or whatever information you think is missing in this forum instead of creating a stupid topic like this. You must have no idea how many people transfer into the UC system every year.

guy 1: WOW. I dunno man, I am just a kid from the street home. I can't understand those big words man. It looks like some rich **** is asking us to get out, what should we do man?

guy 2: does that kid own this place?

guy 1: **** no.

guy 2: then don't ******* get out.

I don't give a **** about some ******* fallacy. I can label every comment made by you "Ad farkedup fallacy".

The fact that people argue over something of such unimportance as there being too many UC transfer threads during UC transfer crunch is certainly rich.

Considering that UC students are most likely the largest number of students looking to transfer, one might presuppose that come mid- to late-April, the threads would multiply like the many skittish short-lived bunnies they are.

1) There are many others who agree with me on this matter.
2) Since I did not start this topic, and since that bolded line is yours, what derisive terms shall I apply to you?
3) I do not need to create yet another thread, there are many Ivy-Related threads that answer relevant issues. However, those threads are archived because of useless UC posts.

wow you're so great, go get a cookie

It looks like blackdream has lost face:D

while we are at it, why don't we start talking about quantum mechanics or polymerse chain reaction?

it looks like to some one here, if we don't know whatever he choose to specialize in, we are dumb.

well, maybe his HOXA8 was messed up?

nspeds,

I just thought you'd find it droll that you have used the word "recalcitrant" to describe UC students at least three times in my informal count. Favorite word?

i don't know what ad populum fallacy, it's simple, the world is becoming more and more specialized.

know the word ad populum doesn't give me 20 more KN on AL-31 or F119 or whatever, and it doesn't make kerr blackhole stop.
