UC to CSU - engineering

I was wondering if it was possible to transfer from a UC to a CSU such as SFSU or SJSU in terms of engineering.

It should not be an issue as long as you have all the CSU major and GE requirements completed for transfer.

Berkeley tends to take most engineering transfers from a CCC. If you really want engineering this is a major that might benefit from transferring first to a CCC.

To transfer to a CSU, you need to have the base course requirements, major prep, and a sufficiently high college GPA.

SFSU is non impacted, and it’s engineering majors are not impacted, so the GPA minimum is 2.0 for California residents.

SJSU is impacted, so GPA thresholds are competitively determined. Past thresholds are published.

Sorry. Ucbalumnus got it. I was focused on UC and you wanted CSU. ?
