Anyone know if the decisions for transferring from UC to UC comes out later than CC to UC? Or do they all just come out around the same time?

Yeah…I’m looking to head out of Irvine to Davis

You haven't heard anything yet either mav?

Nope - im hoping I'll have a decision tomorrow. at least I heard march 15 was the estimated date...but i dont know if that includes transfers as well.

Man I gotta know soon since I'm going to have to change my schedule around for next quarter if I don't get it in...

"Highest priority for admission is given to junior-level California community college transfer applicants with 60 semester (90 quarter) units. Priority is next given to junior-level transfer students from other UC campuses and other four-year institutions in and out of California"

Hmmm...we may not know for awhile then...I don't know.

Well im transferring from a CC instead of a UC or CSU but I haven't heard anything yet. Hoping tomorrow is the day, but if you see on this forum. Lot's of people found out on the 12th I believe which was 3 days before the 15th. If you look down, i emailed the ucd admissions person and he answered a question of mine if you want to see what they had to say.

anything new?

nope = / what about you?

same here - hopefully next weekend then.

hopefully. I'm hoping to hear this week at least lol. It'll be interesting to see how this all pans out. Did you only apply to transfer to davis?

Yup only Davis since it was the closest to home...well Cal was the closest but I didn't think I would fit well at that school to even to apply (and I wasn't sure how the all my quarter work would transition to their semester system...at least I knew everything I've taken so far would be transferable with Davis).

That's cool. I'm just hoping I get into davis. It'd be nice to move closer to family that I dont see very often, and do it while getting a very good education ya know? How do you like SC though

Oh I see, that's cool -- did you apply to more UC schools? SC as in Santa Cruz? I never applied there. They didn't have a pre-med program so I didn't have interest in that school. I don't know too many people that go there so I can't really talk about the school. Santa Cruz is cool but the school itself...I have no clue what it is like.

I thought you go to santa cruz. My bad lol. Yeah i applied to sd, irvine, and la.

Haha nope - I go to Irvine. Have you heard from the other UC schools?

Lol, I live in Irvine and I'm considering transferring to Davis because it's so far from home. :)

Haha nice - yeah that was one of my reasons for going to Irvine since I wasn't really allowed to go out of state. I still wonder what it would have been like to go all the way to the east coast. What major are you shooting for at Davis?

No i haven't heard from any other schools yet. Crazy, but nothing we can do.

I just got my decision - maybe you got yours today as well?

Lol, out of state wouldn't be enough for me. I'd love to go abroad. =0

Anyways, I'm shooting for Managerial Economics. However, I'm stuck between that at UCD and Business Econ at UCSB, or possibly Business Econ at UCI. :X

I would say it should be between Davis or Santa Barbara for Business Econ - From what I heard, the business side of Irvine is not very well established yet. So I wouldn't recommend Irvine for that. I haven't been following it closely...so unless you heard differently.

Yeah going abroad is pretty cool too. If don't go to Davis, I'm definitely heading out to the UK to take some bio classes.
