UC to UC transfers

<p>Transferring from SB to UCI/UCSD/UCLA/UCR</p>

<p>I have a 3.6 poli sci major but took a 3 P/NP classes</p>

<p>1) Do I have a chance?
2) For UC reciprocity, UCI says </p>

<p>"all transfer students must fulfill the upper-division writing general education requirement (category I) while at UCI. Students anticipating transfer to UCI in their junior year should plan their curriculum so as to anticipate the special mathematics requirement (School requirement 1)."</p>

<p>So even if I have UC reciprocity I still have to complete those? Isn't that BS? </p>

<p>3) I will finish all my premajor reqs for poli sci in the summer before I transfer, will my completion of the poli sci reqs at UCSB be equivalent to the poli sci reqs at another UC?</p>

<p>Because I don’t like the UCSB atmosphere. I hate partying and there is no diversity at this school. I regret coming here.</p>

<p>You should email the Admissions Office and ask about the requirements. I know that most of the information on UC Transfer Pages are directed towards CC transfer students, so emailing them and telling them you’re transferring from a UC might be the best way to get an accurate answer.</p>
