do we list pe as a college prep elective on our academic history? there's no instruction that tells us to leave out the course.

at least at my school, its not.

does anybody know uc's policy?

Hi

"g" is only for UC approved electives. UC is very specific as to what is approved or not. If you are unsure, it probably doesn't qualify.

Per UC
"Do not list courses such as PE, typing, driver's education, health or pep squad"

would tech core be considered a college prep elective?

Hi

I don't know what "tech core" is but your school has an approved course list for 2005 - 06. Tech core would have to be on that list in order to qualify as a "g" elective.

Go to https://admissions.ucop.edu/doorways/list/site and find your school. You may need an ATP/CEEP code to access it, but I found my son's school and his approved list. You will be surprised at what qualifies and what does not.

My S says that there is a place on the application to list classes that are not on the a-g list. Perhaps you can list those classes there?

Good luck.
