UC transcript?!?

so we don’t have to send a transcript with all our grades? we just self report them? do they ever ask for them? can y’allz expand on the whole transcript deal?

The UC system is being smart about the workload involved in admissions. They only read transcripts and SAT scores and other confirmations from the much smaller pool of students who are the entering class.

You self report. They make admissions decisions based on the grades and standardized tests as you reported them.

If you are selected, you then decide if you will attend that campus by submitting a SIR (statement of intent to register). Those that file the SIR are the presumptive entering class.

Now, the campus verifies but only the students that are part of the incoming class. Far less work than reading every transcript and test report.

You, as an incoming student will be asked, sometime between the SIR deadline and the start of the fall term, to send in transcripts and SAT or similar reports. The UC campus will verify the accuracy of what you self-reported. If they don't match, you will be denied entrance.

gracias!!!!!!!!
