UC Transfer Essay. Topic too sensitive?

<p>Hiya,</p>

<p>First post. Just finished college freshman year at an UC and writing essays for the transfer application to another one. I would like to ask for your opinions on something.</p>

<p>For the #2 topic:
Tell us about a personal quality, talent, accomplishment, contribution or experience that is important to you. What about this quality or accomplishment makes you proud, and how does it relate to the person you are?</p>

<p>I have been a Christian and have been secretly struggling with pornography. Overcoming it was a significant event for me in the freshman year. Would that be too sensitive, private, or just yucky... </p>

<p>It’s not a bad subject in some settings, but I doubt it’s one that colleges want to hear. I really recommend finding a different topic.</p>
