So I entered a community college (Las Positas) just last semester and I thought my major was going to be computer science, so i too the entry level computer class (CS 1: Computing Fundamentals 1) I ended up realizing I wasn't very interested in the material ad also I got a C in the course. Since then I have gotten all A's in all my other classes. My major is currently economics and my question is that if I apply to UCLA or Berkeley, will that one C on my transcript get factored into my GPA? Also I don't really understand what courses UC's look at in transfer student. Is it just the pre-reqs and IGETC/& course breadth?? According to Assist.org this course is UC transferable, but doesn;t satusfy any areas of IGETC or 7 course breadth classes. This is the link: ASSIST Report: POSITAS 10-11 UC Transfer Course Agreement

any info/advice/tips would be much appreciated! thanks!! :D

p.s. i am new to this forum and i think i posted this thread in the college admissions section too, so please just disregard that thread. i am not sure how to delete posts.
