@bolognese to be completely honest i am really considering ucd because they offered me a full ride but idk…I guess i wanna just ask why UCD is your top choice and if you know anything about Davis that would be beneficial for us history majors?
I got a lot of aid. Tuition is 100% covered and I can probably even do on-campus housing with the aid they’re offering. Thats a huge factor for me. If I did have to take out loans, it wouldn’t be that much.
Also the campus(which I haven’t visited yet) is supposed to be gorgeous. I love that its a huge biking community and its emphasis on environmentally friendly culture. Davis is a small college town but with Sacramento and Bay area close by. Personally, its everything I could ask for. I’ve been so excited planning my move up to NorCal.
After UCLA and UCB, Davis ranks next in terms of history department. I’ve also heard great things about certain history profs there. Other than that, I don’t know much else that could benefit us specifically.

For some reason I feel a little weird getting accepted to schools and having a pretty low gpa at 3.37. It feels weird having a major that doesn’t require a super high gpa
I don’t know why Davis accepted me 
I’m nervous about UCB though. If I get in I don’t know how I’m going to choose
