UC transfer limit classes

Greetings,

Back when I first started back into school I was placed in Pre Calc I(tested into it after a 3 year hiatus). It was my first semester back and I had a lot of conflicts with the teacher regarding acceptable calculators ETC. I ended up with a B in the class.

I took Pre Calc II the next semester and received an A. The course description says that they are transfer limit classes, meaning only 1 of the 2 classes can be transferred to a UC for credit. Does that mean my B effectively doesn't count and only the A does, if not, what does it mean?

p.s.
finishing up my 2nd semester of CALC in summerschool right now, got an A in Calculus W/ Analytic Geometry I, looking that way in this one too. I don't like to play the blame game, but some times teachers just make things needlessly difficult. :</p>

the first class counts from what i’ve seen on these threads

anyone else with similar experience? and does it vary from school to school?
