UC transfer Pathway Required?

Currently finishing up my UC Application for Political Science stumbled on a question under the ‘Academic History’ , ‘If you followed a UC Transfer Pathway and, prior to transfer, will have completed all of the Pathway course expectations for your intended major, please indicate which Pathway.’
I have an intro to poly sci class finished, 2 other in progress and the last 2 planned for Spring 2019. I’m mainly following classes that are shown on Assist which are the first 4 classes on the pathway which would be finished by the Spring 2019 and stats, history, 60 units already done but not economics stated on the bottom of the Pathway courses.

Am I still able to select the ‘UC transfer Pathway’? I’m confused because it says ‘Students can complete these courses after transfer without negatively affecting their competitiveness for admission.’

And would selecting no would impact my application?

No, you don’t have to check it.

Does it affect the application if you don’t select the UC pathway?

No it won’t affect application.

I can vouch for what @Ohm888 stated! I emailed a UCSB Transfer Admissions rep regarding this same question and it will not increase or decrease your chances of acceptance

Thank you!

I appreciate it thank you!
