A day I’ve been waiting for for a long time. I just checked and the transfer stats for 2017 are up on the UC website. They’re very interesting.
Check them out:

Just need those Berkeley GPAs.
Yeah I noticed that too. That is unless everyone got a 0.00
Yeah I saw this like a couple days ago, I was surprised too :))
This sucks, GPA due to one class is below Berkeley stats, damn it, UCSD ones give me hope though lol
Good to see that Berkeley avg gpa for Comp Sci got higher ((: now i’m right at the edge )):
@Twenmi that IS the 25th-75th percentile, so it sounds like your Berkeley dreams are not shot just yet! You could be that <25th percentile!
I hope everyone gets in to their dream UCs, whether that’s Berkeley, UCLA, this waiting game is killing me.
@OhWhatsHerName I feel you, its killing me, I want results now lol, and then on the other hand I don’t want them back if I didn’t get accepted.
Am I the only one still checking the portals hoping they have a system glitch and my acceptance decision (Yes I’m an optimist) is on the screen early? Lol
@hailey5799 Haha, yeah I’ve done that a few times. Partly because I hope there’s a glitch, but also because I’m incredibly afraid that I’ve missed some form they want me to complete. If the decisions could just come out like a month earlier I’d be happy
@itsyaboiUCLA I’m like totally chill with that too lol, I did that like throughout January, worried I missed a form, but now I just really want decisions, it killing me that I have to wait till end of April for most of them.
I wish they broke it down by the school for majors. It’s pretty tough to have a good estimate when it’s considering every single UC, as UCM as drastically different standards than Cal.
Also, for the enroll GPA range, what is that the average of? the 25th-75th percentile? (in the section broken down by majors)
@ericbadmon Yeah it’s the 25th to 75th percentile for both. I wish they would break down the stats by the college too, but they’ll give you the rate by major so that’s pretty good. UCLA used to have really detailed stats like that and I wish we still got them, but I don’t think they’re doing that this year, at least not in any great detail.

This breaks it down by major and school with 25th-75th percentile, as well as by community college.
@hailey5799 Oh nice. I thought I had seen something like that before, but wasn’t able to find it afterwards.
@itsyaboiUCLA Yeah, took me a while too, there’s like three of them I think
https://www.universityofcalifornia.edu/infocenter/admissions-residency-and-ethnicity (By ethnicity)
https://www.universityofcalifornia.edu/infocenter/admissions-source-school (The comprehensive one)
https://www.universityofcalifornia.edu/infocenter/transfers-major (Transfer by Major)
@hailey5799 I might also add that UCLA’s website itself also updated for 2017 and has a lot of information on that stuff. So for now I will just have to agonize over an applicant pool that is getting increasingly competitive to try to guess where I’ll fall on the spectrum for 2018.
