<p>Hello. I have read that when you have a gap between two semesters of study, you need to explain the reason for the gap on your UC transfer application. The thing is, I didn't have a gap. I took many extensions for my first semester, and ended up using 12 months to finish courses that are supposed to be 4 months long. Will those courses not transfer to UC because they were completed much outside of the regular time limit? I do not want to lie on my application and want to say honestly that I took a year to finish four-month courses while not having any other major responsibilities (no work, no kids); it's just that my mental health wasn't very well at that point, I had severe anxiety issues, and was in a formal education atmosphere after a fairly long time.</p>
<p>That sounds like a reasonable explanation, so just say that.</p>
