Hey guys!
I have been accepted to UC Irvine, Purdue, Washington, Wisconsin etc.
but I really don’t want to graduate from any of these.
I would easily pick Wisconsin out of these but I MIGHT consider Irvine only if it means that it’s SIGNIFICANTLY easier to transfer from UCI To say UCB/UCLA/UCSD than from Wisconsin to UCB/UCLA/UCSD.
Is this true?
I would talk to a counselor. From my knowledge, it would be easier to transfer from UC to UC, but I just know it’s easiest to transfer to CA CC to UC.
@onmyway8 Yeah but a CA CC isn’t an option for me.
I’d go with Wisconsin (Madison, right?) It’ll be cheaper than UCI, and not to mention Irvine is a pretty boring place to be! UC-UC transfer is really hard… I mean so is OOS-UC. Although Madison and Irvine are both great schools, but I think Madison definitely has a stronger rep than Irvine- maybe its just what I’ve heard since I live in the midwest. ANYWAYS, try to tour both schools and see which you like more because no matter where you are not only do you want to be happy, but if you decide yous till want to transfer than if you have a reason to good reason to transfer and strong stats, you have a good chance of ending up where you want to be!
@merpcollegelife No you are right.
Irvine is not at all comparable to Madison, both in reputation as well as college life.
OOS-UC is hard, but so is UC-UC, so for me it makes sense to go to Wisconsin.
Thanks for your help
