<p>yeah i also applied to 3, UCR UCSB, UCSC, still waiting for SB and SC, my gpa isn’t that great, its just above the minimum required, but my major is communications and SB is the only school i applied for in winter that has it at their school. Also my classes that i took in communications related areas i did well in, so hopefully they’ll take that into account, but i still wonder about the housing since all the people move in at fall and stuff, i know its a lottery process though for transfers.</p>

<p>For the few of us who applied to UCLA it sucks that their site now says we will not find out if we are in till late October. I am also waiting on UCI still. I doubt it can be a whole lot longer till we find out. </p>

<p>yeah housing is kinda of a problem for winter 2008 b/c we don’t really have much time to plan everything compare to the fall applicants, having hte whole summer to organize and plan things out. Housing is not even gurantee also right..?</p>
<p>depends on the campus, different campuses have different housing policies.</p>

I migh apply for Fall 2008 admissions to, b/c i want to go to LA. Like the ones i applied now, i don’t really feel like going to those, I was seriously thinking about UCR b/c of business adminsation (and berkeley is too far out of my reach)</p>
<p>Yah UCR is the only uc i think that has bus administration, and your right sixshot, i contacted UCI a while ago and they said you need to have like 54 units done by summer to transfer for winter. If you apply for fall, you get the month of november to apply and find out sometime in march. Then you have until september to get everything done and ready, son that’s like 6 months. If your transferring in winter you would aplly between mid july to mid august and you find out in october and have until janary to get everything ready. UCSB doesn’t guarantee housing to transfer until fall 08, and i think the housing they offer you sucks</p>
