<p>ah, a counselor at sb said they would give me a decision by tomorrow. im tired of waiting =p</p>
<p>me too, are there that many people applying for winter? they ultimately based their decision on grades first but don’t know if the personal statement matters at all, plus they said they base their decision on like 8 other factors or something</p>

<p>congrats, mine still pending, maybe i should call them maybe i’ll get an answer sometime in this life, so did you ask for an extension with davis or did you sign the SIR already?</p>
<p>ya i asked for an extension, but i signed the sb SIR as soon i found out that i got in =P. and ya you should call them to pressure them a little i guess, show that you really want to go there? maybe thats why they called me? who knows</p>

<p>nope, i’m checking the site like multiple times a day, i’m thinking of email admissions but not sure that it would make a difference? sixshot do you think that you would of found out today whether you called them or not?</p>
<p>ya, i am pretty sure that they got back to me because i was bugging them so much =p</p>
<p>so i emailed them and i get a response saying that i should check the website and put in my info to see if i got in or not, what do they think i have been doing the last few weeks and why i emailed them? i don’t think its a god sign, they probably let people they let in know first</p>
<p>Maybe.. but i think they are just ganna wait till last minutes, honestly i called UCSB like 4 times so i think thats why they got back to me. I told them that my SIR date was coming up soon for another UC ( which was true) and that i needed a decision from them by that date. but ya if that doesnt work, than who knows =\ alot of ppl have actually been denied so i think your good but only time will tell.</p>
<p>maybe, but my transfer gpa isn’t that good so i’m kind of worried, hopefully at least they’ll give me my second choice major, did you get in on your first choice? i didn’t know you can call and extend the deadline so i had to sign my sir for ucr at least for insurance, but i can cancel and they said if i sign my sir for one schools it won['t affect the decision for the other school, wonder if they know that i signed an sir for another school since its taking so long</p>

<p>dragondawg, have you been enrolled at a 4-year university at any point? Is there any reason for your application to be sent to the dean? That’s the only reason why I could imagine your app taking so long.</p>
<p>no been to only two cc since i graduated high school, not sure why is taking so long but sucks to hear that many people have been rejected, sb was also the last school to recieve my app</p>
