"UC Writing Req met by SAT"

<p>On my UC Davis portal this is what it says underneath my SAT scores (i got a 730 in writing). Does this mean i don't need to take the entrance english exam? And is this for all of the UC's even though it only says this on the Davis portal? Thanks</p>

<p>Oh and i also got a 5 on the AP English Lang. exam last year and i heard that that means you don’t have to take the test as well. true?</p>
