Can someone currently in the University-Community Academic Advising Program (UCAAP) give me some insight on the program? Anyone who’s knowledgeable about it can respond too. I’m considering applying for the UCAAP. Here’s a few questions:

Was it competitive to join?
How was the orientation?
Do you find the program rewarding?
Pros/Cons?

All I can tell you is that my daughter didn't do it, but wishes she had. In her view, anything that gets you on campus early and enables you to meet people is a good thing.

As far a I know, browncal, it's not. And I'm not sure it would work well for transfers especially due to it's attachment to advising structures.
