I want to include my experience of internship on the UCAS Personal Statement.
Now, I want you to check whether this sentence below is correct or not:
I have completed six months of internship at [company’s name], which enhanced not only my apptitude for engineering but also ability to research potential issues behind the trial products.
Please tell me if this sentence has any grammatical mistekes or other problems.
Yes, it has grammatical mistakes.
Yes, it has a spelling mistake.
Yes, it has a factual mistake.
But the biggest problem is that the PS is supposed to demonstrate why you are a good candidate for the course you are applying to study, and simply saying “I did an internship so now I am better” doesn’t do that. It isn’t the fact of completing an internship - it’s what in particular you took from the internship and how it applies to you as a candidate for the course.
Also, crowd sourcing your grammar and spell checking is probably not the most effective way to get the jobs done
