UCB admission question

Hi, I have a question about the UCB admission.
On my application I put undeclared for my major. I just got accepted to UCB, but it says to the college of natural resources.

???

What does this mean - do i have to do things at the college of natural resources? Or can I like.. switch? Not sure on this - sorta confused right now. The topics mentioned on the CNR don't really interest me much.... help?

Make sure you applied undeclared. If not it is probably a mistake. Call the admissions office but I would wait until later this week as they are probably getting a million calls right now.

are you sure you didn't accidentally apply to the college of natural resources? you could've marked undeclared and applied in the CNR. if not it's not that big a deal you can just transfer, i don't know how, you can probably just email an adviser or something.

There always seems to be a lot of people how accidentally apply into CNR every year. "Undeclared, CNR" as opposed to "Undeclared, L&S" or confusing some of CNR's bio majors with L&S's bio majors.

There is a process to transfer out of CNR into the other colleges. Just talk to an L&S advisor to figure what classes are necessary before they consider the change of college petition.

Hey thanks for the replies. Looking back on the application, I see I applied to "Undeclared/Nat Resources" - i remember when applying I was a little confused on the declared major, and I finally found an undeclared. So if I did apply to nat resources as undeclared, it wouldn't be difficult to transfer to L&S would it?

It's easy to change to L&S; don't worry about it. Contact admissions about how to do it.

I got accepted to that as well, and did NOT put "undeclared". Wondering what majors fall under the natural resources college. By the way, CA2006, I was one of the supplemental questionnaire people (disabilities related) and you were right -- it was obviously worth it filling out the form and sending in all the info they requested!
